Apple Releases Beta 6 of iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, and More

Apple has rolled out Beta 6 for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, and several other upcoming software updates, giving developers a more stable and polished experience.

Arriving just a week after Beta 5, this latest round focuses heavily on bug fixes, performance optimizations, and overall stability improvements, making these builds far more reliable than earlier releases.

Developers can grab iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Beta 6 directly on compatible iPhones and iPads via the Settings app. Simply head to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and follow the prompts. Just ensure your Apple ID is linked to your Developer Account-without that, the update won’t appear.

macOS Tahoe 26 Beta 6 is also available for compatible Macs through the Software Update tool in System Settings, again requiring your Apple ID to be tied to your Developer Account for OTA delivery.

Alongside these, Apple has pushed out Beta 6 builds for watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26. All updates bring smoother performance, enhanced reliability, and a more refined feel, signaling that the software is nearing public readiness.

iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 remain the highlights, introducing the new Liquid Glass design language to refresh the look and feel of the interface, plus new productivity tools and feature extensions that further enhance the Apple ecosystem. With fewer bugs and better performance, developers can now test with confidence ahead of the official release.
