While the company already offers a wide catalog of Intel and AMD-based mini PCs, including models powered by Strix Point APUs, the M1A PRO+ is clearly positioned as its no-compromise flagship.

At first glance, the M1A PRO+ looks familiar because it reuses the bold cube chassis seen on the MA1 TANK 03, complete with decorative panels and aggressive styling that makes it stand out on a desk or in a studio. The big difference is on the inside. Where the TANK 03 combines an Intel Core i9-12900H with a dedicated GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU, the new PRO+ variant leans entirely on AMD’s high-end APU, skipping a discrete graphics card altogether in favor of raw integrated horsepower.

The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 is the star of the show. This 16-core, 32-thread Zen 5 chip is designed to blur the line between desktop and mobile performance in a single package. Alongside its CPU cores, it integrates a 40 Compute Unit Radeon 8060S-class iGPU based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. On paper, this puts the integrated graphics in roughly the same performance class as an RTX 4060 laptop GPU, at least in well-optimized workloads, making the M1A PRO+ a fascinating fully integrated alternative to bulkier small-form-factor gaming rigs.

Because this is a Ryzen AI part, ACEMAGIC is also clearly aiming at creators and professionals experimenting with on-device AI workloads, from video effects and image generation to code assistance and productivity tools. A compact cube that can handle gaming, advanced multimedia work, and AI-assisted tasks without relying on a separate GPU is exactly the kind of machine many power users have been waiting for, especially if they value a clean, cable-light setup.

Memory and storage options underline just how serious ACEMAGIC is about the PRO+ label. The company is promising configurations with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory. That much high-speed RAM will not come cheap, but it will be extremely attractive for heavy multitaskers, virtual machine users, developers running large local models, and content creators working with 4K timelines or massive photo libraries. Storage is similarly over-the-top, with support for up to 12 TB of solid-state capacity, giving users room for enormous project folders, game libraries, and local media archives.

Naturally, all that performance needs modern connectivity. ACEMAGIC has confirmed support for WiFi 7, ensuring ultra-fast wireless networking for game streaming, cloud backups, and file transfers. However, many potential buyers are already asking the same question: what about the physical I/O on the rear and front panels? For now, ACEMAGIC has not detailed the exact port layout. For a system this powerful, users will expect plentiful USB-C and USB-A ports, high-bandwidth USB4 or similar for external GPUs and fast storage, multiple display outputs like HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort, and perhaps a fast 2.5G or even 10G Ethernet option. Without a strong I/O story, some of the computing power risks being bottlenecked.

Cooling is another big unknown. Packing a flagship APU with a potent 40 CU GPU into a small cube inevitably raises questions about thermals and sustained performance. ACEMAGIC has not yet shared detailed information about the heatsink design, fan configuration, or acoustic profile of the M1A PRO+. Enthusiasts will be watching closely to see whether the company can keep the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 running near its potential without excessive fan noise or thermal throttling, especially under long gaming or rendering sessions.

There is also the question of expandability. At this stage, ACEMAGIC has not confirmed whether the M1A PRO+ will support any kind of discrete GPU option, either internally or through a dedicated external enclosure. For many buyers, the whole appeal of this system is that the integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics are finally strong enough to make an extra GPU optional. Still, power users who dream of pairing the cube with a monstrous external graphics dock will want clarity before committing.

Pricing and availability remain officially unannounced, but expectations are already being set high. Given the premium Ryzen AI Max+ 395 silicon, the ambitious memory ceiling, and the huge storage support, it is reasonable to expect the M1A PRO+ to start at no less than $2,000, with maxed-out 128 GB and 12 TB configurations reaching truly eye-watering levels. This will not be a toy for casual browsing; it is targeted squarely at enthusiasts, professionals, and early adopters who are willing to pay for cutting-edge silicon in a tiny footprint.

Even with some key questions about I/O, cooling, and pricing still unanswered, ACEMAGIC’s M1A PRO+ looks like one of the most interesting Strix Halo-based mini PCs announced so far. If the company can back up the bold specs with smart thermal design and a generous port selection, this cube could become a dream machine for users who want desktop-class performance, AI acceleration, and console-like simplicity all in one small, stylish box.
