According to a new certification listing, Samsung appears to be readying a brand-new Exynos S6568 connectivity chipset, designed to work alongside its main Exynos processor. 
The listing on the official Bluetooth qualification database identifies the S6568 as a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi companion chip, supporting the new Bluetooth 6.1 standard – a step forward in wireless range, stability, and energy efficiency.
While Samsung hasn’t shared further details, this chip could be a major enhancement for the Galaxy S26 lineup’s wireless performance, especially in crowded environments where stable connections are critical. Compared to older modules, the S6568 is expected to offer improved power management and reduced latency for Bluetooth accessories like earbuds, smartwatches, and smart home devices.
The Galaxy S26 series itself is rumored to run on the Exynos 2600 SoC in most global markets, while select regions may receive versions powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. This hybrid strategy echoes Samsung’s past approach, balancing its in-house silicon innovation with Snapdragon’s proven flagship performance. Interestingly, insiders suggest that the series launch could be postponed from January to March 2026, giving Samsung more time to fine-tune hardware and optimize performance across both chip variants.
