Realme has quietly rolled out a new smartphone in Poland, the Realme P3 Lite 4G, a device that might puzzle fans due to its close resemblance to other Realme models. On paper, this phone is nearly a twin of the Realme C71 rather than the C75 4G.
To add to the confusion, in some regions the Realme C75 5G is rebranded as the ‘Realme P3 Lite 5G,’ which makes the family tree of these devices a bit tangled.
The P3 Lite 4G features the Unisoc T7250 chipset, backed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which can be expanded further through a microSD card. Thankfully, Realme hasn’t abandoned the classic 3.5mm headphone jack, which will please users who still rely on wired audio. The display measures 6.67 inches with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, though it only offers 720p+ resolution – an obvious compromise compared to rivals in the same price bracket. A punch-hole cutout houses a modest 5MP selfie camera, while the rear setup keeps things simple with a single 50MP f/1.8 shooter capable of recording 1080p video.
The biggest talking point is the massive 6,000mAh battery, a feature often reserved for bulkier models. Realme claims the P3 Lite can deliver up to 66 hours of runtime on a single charge according to EU Energy Label data, and it is rated for at least 1,000 full charge cycles. The downside? Charging speed is capped at just 15W, which feels painfully slow compared to the C71 and C75, both of which support up to 45W fast charging. The P3 Lite does have some tricks to compensate – its system is designed to sense water splashes and can run the speakers at ultrasonic frequencies to push out moisture more quickly. The device also has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, adding peace of mind for everyday use.
Design-wise, the phone measures 7.79mm thick and weighs 196g, giving it a balanced hand feel. Beyond the hardware, Realme is pushing software perks like Google Gemini integration and an AI Eraser tool, keeping the device competitive in an age where AI-assisted features are increasingly expected, even in budget-friendly models. Another handy addition is 360° NFC support, which makes contactless payments and pairing with terminals more seamless.
As for the price, the Realme P3 Lite 4G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is listed at PLN 600 (around €140 or $165). The problem? That’s exactly the same price as the Realme C71 4G with the same memory configuration – and even the Realme C75 4G. Both of those models arguably offer better value: the C71 matches the battery but with faster charging, and the C75 adds a 1080p+ display with a Helio G92 Max chipset, though it drops the refresh rate to 90Hz. In this light, the P3 Lite feels like a puzzling rebrand, more about clearing inventory than offering something genuinely fresh.
Realme’s strategy of overlapping models with slight variations has left many scratching their heads. For budget-conscious buyers, the P3 Lite 4G might look appealing at first glance, but side-by-side comparisons make it harder to justify against its siblings. Still, if battery life, NFC convenience, and AI features are top priorities, the P3 Lite stands out as a functional, no-nonsense option at a reasonable price – just not necessarily the most exciting one in Realme’s lineup.
