Vivo has lifted the curtain on its next-generation flagship lineup, the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro, releasing a wave of teasers that highlight not only the design but also the distinct color options. Positioned to rival Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 and arriving on the heels of Apple’s iPhone 17 launch, Vivo is aiming to secure its place at the forefront of the 2025 smartphone battle.
The official images give us a clear look at the rear design of both models. 
Compared with last year’s Vivo X200, the X300 family embraces a noticeably flatter design with angular flat frames, softened by rounded corners. Another change is the repositioning of the flash module, which now sits on the left-hand side of the camera cluster. Vivo’s aesthetic adjustments demonstrate an effort to differentiate its devices in a market crowded with similar silhouettes.
In terms of color palettes, the standard Vivo X300 is shown in light blue and pastel pink tones, appealing to users looking for brighter and livelier finishes. The X300 Pro, meanwhile, leans toward more serious styling with darker shades like graphite gray and beige. While these are the first officially confirmed colorways, industry watchers expect that Vivo will reveal additional hues closer to launch, potentially expanding the customization options for different user tastes.
The camera system is once again Vivo’s crown jewel. Both the X300 and X300 Pro are equipped with triple-lens setups, but their focus differs. The X300 Pro’s large circular bump accommodates a groundbreaking 200MP APO telephoto lens, engineered to elevate mobile photography with unprecedented zoom clarity. The base X300 model also boasts a 200MP sensor, but this one is dedicated to the primary camera, ensuring that even the non-Pro model offers headline-grabbing imaging capabilities. Rumors about the X300 Ultra suggest it may go a step further with a dual-200MP configuration, raising the stakes in the megapixel race.
Under the hood, both phones are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, an SoC designed for power efficiency and raw performance. This is paired with LTPO displays capable of ultra-low brightness levels down to just 1 nit, a feature that ensures comfortable viewing in dark environments. Vivo has also emphasized slimmer profiles and lighter builds this year, continuing a trend of combining portability with premium feel. These refinements align with consumer demand for devices that balance performance with ergonomics.
From a design standpoint, Vivo continues to embrace its signature circular camera housing. While it may not be a radical departure from previous models, it remains a distinctive and visually balanced solution. In a market where many devices are accused of mimicking the Pixel 10’s aesthetic, Vivo’s choice to evolve its existing design language rather than follow the trend gives the X300 family a welcome sense of identity. This strategy highlights that innovation does not always require drastic redesigns; sometimes, refinement of a proven formula can be just as impactful.
