vivo is preparing to expand its V60 lineup, and fresh leaks have revealed detailed specs and images of the upcoming vivo V60 Lite 4G. Positioned as the direct successor to March’s V50 Lite 4G, this device is designed to balance affordability with premium touches, signaling vivo’s strategy to offer variety in both performance and price across the V60 family.
The V60 Lite 4G will join the already released V60 and the soon-to-arrive V60e.
The smartphone is expected to feature a spacious 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 94.2% screen-to-body ratio, making it an attractive choice for media consumption and gaming. At its core, the handset runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 chipset, supported by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. While the 685 is not the most powerful chip in 2025 and still relies on dated A73 cores, the storage speed is a welcome addition for this segment.
Photography is getting a modest but important upgrade compared to its predecessor. The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera and a new 8MP ultrawide shooter with a 120-degree field of view. On the front, users will find a 32MP selfie camera, ensuring clear shots for video calls and social content. Powering everything is a massive 6,500mAh battery paired with 90W wired charging, promising long runtimes and quick top-ups.
Other noteworthy features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and IP65 certification for dust and splash resistance. Despite its large battery, the phone measures just 7.59mm in thickness, which keeps it sleek in hand. Out of the box, the device will ship with Android 15 and vivo’s Funtouch OS 15, though enthusiasts may be disappointed that Android 16 has already rolled out in June. Color options at launch are expected to include classic black and a stylish blue.
While the hardware refresh is evolutionary rather than revolutionary, the addition of the ultrawide camera makes the Lite 4G more versatile than its predecessor. Pricing and launch dates remain unconfirmed, but leaks suggest a global rollout is planned, giving vivo another contender in the competitive midrange smartphone market. Compared with rivals, the V60 Lite 4G seems to aim at practicality, offering large battery capacity and fast charging while sacrificing cutting-edge performance cores. Still, for users who value battery life, display quality, and photography options, it could be a smart and affordable pick in 2025.
