Realme is preparing to expand its popular P3 lineup with a new addition that could shake up the budget smartphone market – the Realme P3 Lite.
Scheduled to launch on September 13 at 7 PM IST, this device is positioned as the fifth member of the P3 family and is clearly designed to attract value-conscious buyers who don’t want to compromise on modern features.
At its core, the Realme P3 Lite is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, a solid processor for mid-range tasks and light gaming. Paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the phone promises smooth multitasking and enough space for daily apps, media, and files. Out of the box, it will run on Realme UI 6, offering an updated and more fluid software experience tailored to Android enthusiasts.
The display is one of the highlights: a 6.67-inch panel boasting a 120Hz refresh rate. This means buttery-smooth scrolling and responsive animations, especially appealing for gamers and heavy content consumers. The screen supports peak brightness of 625 nits, ensuring outdoor visibility, and includes an interesting feature – wet touch support, which allows the screen to respond even when fingers are damp, a convenience for India’s humid climate.
Photography duties are handled by a dual rear camera system, with a 32MP main sensor taking the lead. While not pushing the limits of flagship photography, it should be more than capable of handling crisp social media shots and everyday captures. On the power side, the P3 Lite stands out with a massive 6,000 mAh battery, backed by 45W fast charging for quick refuels. It even supports 5W reverse charging, meaning users can turn the phone into a power bank for smaller devices like earphones or smartwatches.
Durability also gets attention here. The Realme P3 Lite is certified with an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust and splashes. On top of that, the MIL-STD-810H certification indicates it has passed a series of military-grade durability tests, making it a reassuring option for users who are tough on their phones.
In terms of design and personal style, buyers will have three colors to choose from: Midnight Lily, Purple Blossom, and Lily White. Realme is clearly aiming to provide options that appeal to different tastes, from sleek and understated to bold and expressive.
Perhaps the most striking part of the package is its pricing strategy. Expected to launch under INR 10,000 (around $115 or €95), the Realme P3 Lite is shaping up to be one of the most feature-packed budget smartphones of 2025. For students, first-time smartphone users, or those simply looking for a secondary device, this combination of power, design, and durability at a bargain price could be hard to resist.
