Realme is preparing to expand its Realme 15 lineup with the arrival of the Realme 15T, officially launching in India on September 2 at 12 PM.
This smartphone joins the existing Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro, but what has already caught attention is its striking resemblance to Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro.
Realme has openly compared its new device to Apple’s flagship, highlighting the phone’s slim and lightweight design. Measuring just 7.79mm in thickness and weighing 181g, the Realme 15T is thinner and lighter than the iPhone 16 Pro, which comes in at 8.3mm and 199g. Despite the similarity in looks, it’s clear Realme is aiming to undercut Apple on price while still offering premium design cues.
The Realme 15T will be available in Silk Blue, Suit Titanium, and Flowing Silver. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with a massive 7,000mAh Titan battery that also supports 10W reverse charging. The display is a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with 10-bit color depth and an impressive peak brightness of 4,000 nits.
Photography enthusiasts will get dual 50MP AI-powered cameras – one on the front and one on the back – packed with creative features like AI Edit Genie, AI Snap Mode, AI Landscape, and a range of filters including Retro, Dreamy, and Glowy. The phone also comes with strong durability credentials thanks to IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making it resistant to dust and water in multiple scenarios.
On the software side, the Realme 15T ships with Android 15 out of the box, though it won’t get the same long-term updates as Apple devices. Realme has promised three years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. This is a step up from some budget rivals but still lags behind Apple’s extensive support cycle.
Realme’s teaser for the device even cheekily borrowed Apple’s famous “one more thing” tagline, signaling that the brand doesn’t shy away from its design inspiration. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Realme has done something similar – its recently launched Realme P4 and P4 Pro mirrored Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro camera module design.
The most aggressive part of the Realme 15T, however, is its price. The company has confirmed the phone will be priced under INR 20,000 (roughly $225/€195), making it one of the most affordable smartphones to offer such high-end specs and design appeal. Sales will be available through Realme’s website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores, with exact availability details expected soon.
With its blend of affordability, bold design choices, and powerful hardware, the Realme 15T could be one of the most disruptive mid-range smartphones in India this year – though the iPhone-like look is sure to spark debates among fans and critics alike.
