Oppo’s next flagship, the Find X9, has surfaced in a major specs leak, hinting at one of the most ambitious upgrades the brand has ever attempted.
Set for an October debut alongside the Find X9 Pro – and possibly an X9 Plus – the phone looks ready to challenge the big names with meaningful improvements.
The Find X9 reportedly carries a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, paired with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Power comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, positioning it among the top-tier Android performers. On the back, the camera setup brings three 50MP shooters: Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 main sensor with OIS, a Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide, and a periscope telephoto using Samsung’s JN9 with 3x optical zoom and OIS. A 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie camera rounds out the imaging system, enhanced with Oppo’s Lumo Imaging and Hasselblad optimizations.
The phone isn’t just about optics. It packs a massive 7,025 mAh battery, a huge leap from its predecessor, with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other highlights include stereo speakers, a new x-axis vibration motor, IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, Android 16 with ColorOS 16, and the return of Oppo’s Plus key. These touches make it clear Oppo isn’t chasing small spec bumps but aiming for real year-over-year progress.
Compared to the Find X8 series, the Find X9 offers a bigger battery, a higher-resolution selfie camera, a new ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and the latest processor. While rivals like Samsung often get criticized for incremental updates, Oppo seems determined to deliver an upgrade fans can feel.
