OnePlus has unveiled its latest entry-level earbuds, the Nord Buds 3r, aimed at offering affordable wireless audio with a variety of features. Priced at INR 1,799 (~$20), these earbuds are set to be available in India starting September 8.
Despite their budget-friendly price, they pack a punch with features typically found in more expensive models.
The Nord Buds 3r come equipped with 12.4mm dynamic drivers that promise rich sound quality. OnePlus has also integrated its Sound Master EQ feature, which includes three preset sound modes and a custom 6-band equalizer, allowing users to personalize their listening experience. Additionally, the earbuds support OnePlus’ 3D Audio technology, delivering immersive 360-degree spatial audio for an enhanced listening experience.
When it comes to calls, the Nord Buds 3r are equipped with dual microphones on each earbud, utilizing AI noise cancellation and beamforming technology to ensure crystal-clear audio, even in windy environments. However, it’s important to note that these earbuds do not feature active noise cancellation.
Battery life is another standout feature, with the Nord Buds 3r offering up to 12 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The charging case boosts this figure to an impressive 54 hours, and OnePlus claims the battery will remain efficient even after 1,000 charging cycles.
Additional features of the Nord Buds 3r include Bluetooth 5.4 for stable connectivity, support for SBC and AAC codecs, 47ms low latency in game mode, and an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. The earbuds will be available in two color options: Aura Blue and Ash Black, and will be sold through OnePlus’ official website, OnePlus Experience Stores, Amazon, Flipkart, and several other major retailers.

Can’t believe they added 3D audio in such an affordable pair of earbuds. Impressive!
Got the Nord Buds 2 before, now this seems like an upgrade! 😍
Not bad for the price, but no ANC? Kinda a bummer but still good value
Anyone know if these work well with iPhones? 🤷♂️
Why are all budget earbuds so plasticky though? Still, I might try them out
