The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has surfaced earlier than expected thanks to a leaked retail listing in Portugal, briefly posted by MediaMarkt before being taken down. While the price remains uncertain, the listing confirmed nearly every detail about the highly anticipated phone – and even revealed an official image.
According to the leak, the Galaxy S25 FE sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1080×2340, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
Inside, Samsung has equipped the device with the Exynos 2400 chip, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, though other storage options are expected at launch.
The camera setup mirrors Samsung’s flagship DNA, featuring a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. Selfie duties are handled by a 12MP front shooter. One major upgrade comes in the form of an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, replacing the optical sensor from the previous model.
The battery also sees an upgrade, with capacity rising to 4,900mAh (from 4,700mAh on the S24 FE). Wired charging supports up to 45W, while wireless charging reaches 15W. At 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm and weighing 190g, the device is slightly more compact and lighter than its predecessor. The leak showed a Navy Blue variant, though multiple colors are expected.
The biggest mystery remains the price. The Portuguese listing briefly showed €789.99 for the 128GB version – roughly $918 – which would be unusually high for an FE model. However, this could be a mix-up, since the Galaxy S24 FE launched in Portugal at the same price for its 256GB version. If Samsung keeps tradition, the S25 FE might still debut in the US around $649.99, though other reports suggest it could climb closer to $799.
With its upgraded hardware, more premium design, and improved biometrics, the Galaxy S25 FE looks ready to narrow the gap between Samsung’s flagship and midrange lines. The official unveiling is expected in the coming weeks.
