OnePlus has finally locked in the Indian debut of its next-gen tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3. After its global unveiling back in June, fans were left waiting for concrete launch details in India. 
The company teased a September release last month, and now it’s official: the Pad 3 will hit Indian shelves on September 5 at 12PM.
Interestingly, OnePlus is still holding back the final word on Indian pricing, despite initially promising to reveal it weeks ago. What we do know is that the Pad 3 will be offered in Storm Blue and Frosted Silver finishes, with two configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and a higher-tier 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option.
On the hardware side, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The display is one of its biggest highlights: a 13.2-inch 144Hz 12-bit LCD with an ultra-sharp 3,392 × 2,400 resolution. The Pad 3 also comes with a 12,140mAh battery that supports blazing-fast 80W charging.
For photography and video calls, the device sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. While OnePlus has packed the Pad 3 with plenty of power and premium features, some fans are already expressing disappointment over the lack of a SIM slot, which limits mobile connectivity to Wi-Fi only.
With its powerful internals, sharp display, and fast charging, the Pad 3 is shaping up as one of the most compelling Android tablets of the year – assuming the price lands in the right spot for Indian buyers.
