Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is officially making its return this October, with new platforms and exciting opportunities for players.
A Plus and Shanghai Bokura Network Technology, the developers behind the game, have announced that the highly anticipated MMORPG will launch on PC, iOS, and Android this fall. But the excitement doesn’t end there – mobile players can now pre-register for the game, starting today, while PC enthusiasts can jump into the action with the closed beta test, which begins immediately.
For those looking to play on mobile, pre-registration is available via the official Blue Protocol website. On the PC side, if you’re eager to get a taste of the game before the full launch, you can start playing today through Steam’s closed beta. However, if you missed the chance to sign up for the beta, A Plus has assured fans that new codes will be released as long as server space is available.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance brings a fresh chapter to the MMORPG series. The game follows the original Blue Protocol, which debuted in Japan in 2023. Unfortunately, the game faced an early shutdown just a year after launch, as the player base wasn’t large enough to sustain the game. Its international release was also canceled. The game officially closed its servers this past January, but now, fans can rejoice as Star Resonance prepares to launch worldwide later this year.
And for those attending Anime NYC, there’s even more reason to get excited: A Plus will have a playable demo of the game available at the convention. If you’ve been waiting for this moment, the wait is almost over!

Why are they still using Steam for beta access tho? Isn’t it a bit outdated? 🤷♂️
The first game was a letdown. Fingers crossed this one’s a hit 🤞
