Samsung is preparing to launch its new Galaxy Tab S11, the standard model that will sit just below the Ultra variant.
Fresh high-resolution renders have now surfaced, confirming what fans can expect from the slimmer, more compact sibling of Samsung’s flagship tablet.
No notch, slimmer frame, classic colors
Unlike the Ultra version, the Tab S11 avoids the controversial notch, giving users a cleaner display framed by slim bezels. The tablet’s size is only marginally smaller than last year’s Tab S9, but it manages to shave off a bit of thickness, coming in at just 5.5mm – matching the ultra-thin profile of the Tab S10 Ultra. Buyers will find it in two colors: silver and dark gray, a safe but perhaps uninspired palette compared to the vibrant red of the upcoming Tab S10 Lite.
Specs that rival premium tablets
The Galaxy Tab S11 packs an 11-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2560 x 1600 resolution. Under the hood is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, backed by 12GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB
. The device will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8, and Samsung is promising an impressive seven years of OS and security updates.
Other highlights include a 13MP rear camera, a 12MP selfie camera, quad speakers, an 8,400mAh battery with 45W charging, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, optional 5G, and full USB 3.2 support. Naturally, the S Pen comes bundled in.
Price and positioning
European pricing is expected to start at €899 for the Wi-Fi-only 128GB model, with higher tiers crossing the €1,100 mark depending on storage and 5G options. In the U.S., leaks suggest a more competitive $800 starting point, undercutting the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra by around $400 and landing $200 below Apple’s iPad Pro 11 (M4).
If rumors are correct, Samsung will unveil both the Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra at IFA 2025 in Berlin this September, positioning the new lineup as a serious contender in the high-end tablet market just in time for the holiday shopping season.
