Realme has officially introduced its new P4 lineup in India, bringing both the Realme P4 and P4 Pro as successors to the earlier P3 series.
The spotlight feature across both models is their enormous 7,000mAh batteries paired with 80W fast charging – a combination aimed squarely at heavy users and gamers who demand long-lasting power without long waits at the plug.
Realme P4 Pro: Flagship Feel With Some Trims
The Realme P4 Pro is essentially a tweaked version of the Realme 15 Pro, with some cost-cutting adjustments. Instead of a premium aluminum frame and IP68/IP69 protection, the phone now settles for IP65/IP66 resistance and a simpler build. The 50MP ultra-wide lens has also been swapped for a more modest 8MP shooter. Despite this, the P4 Pro still brings an impressive spec sheet.
It features a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and an eye-searing peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Gorilla Glass 7i adds durability, while an under-display fingerprint sensor keeps the design clean. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 runs out of the box.
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX896 main sensor with OIS, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide. The front camera continues to impress with a 50MP sensor capable of 4K60 video. Pricing starts at ₹25,000 ($290) for the 8/128GB version and goes up to ₹29,000 ($330) for the 12/256GB model. Sales begin August 27 on Flipkart.
Realme P4: Mid-Range With Big Battery
The standard P4 draws inspiration from the Narzo 80 Pro but comes with notable upgrades. It adds an ultra-wide camera, bumps the battery up to 7,000mAh, and boosts the display refresh rate to 144Hz. The 6.77-inch flat OLED screen offers 1080p+ resolution, 10-bit color, and a 4,500-nit peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass and integrated with an optical fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the phone runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Its main camera uses a 50MP OmniVision OV50D sensor, though it lacks OIS and is limited to 4K30 video. The front-facing camera is a 16MP module capped at 1080p30 recording.
Both P4 models share IP65/IP66 water resistance, dual-SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and IR blasters. However, neither offers NFC or expandable storage. The Realme P4 launches today on Flipkart and Realme’s website, priced from ₹18,500 ($215) for the 6/128GB version to ₹21,500 ($245) for the 8/256GB option.
Whether these models will roll out globally remains uncertain, but given Realme’s track record with the P3 series, international fans may not have long to wait.
