Gamescom 2025 is just around the corner, and that means Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live is set to deliver another two hours of game reveals, updates, and surprises. While the full lineup remains under wraps, Keighley has confirmed a few big names: Resident Evil Requiem, Ghost of Yotei, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Ninja Gaiden 4 will all take the stage.
Fans of the Fallout TV show can also expect fresh footage from the highly anticipated second season, slated for December 2025-though we’re still waiting on a firm release date.
Another long-awaited highlight is Hollow Knight Silksong, which might finally reveal its release date after years of silence. The event could also host the debut of Sony’s rumored Inzone H9 II headset, while attendees will get hands-on time with the new ROG Xbox Ally, with its launch date expected to be revealed live.
RPG fans will be pleased to see Crimson Desert making a return despite its delay out of 2025. On the flip side, Embark Studios has confirmed ARC Raiders won’t be part of the show. As always, there’s plenty left to speculation-Keighley’s team loves to drop surprises.
Opening Night Live kicks off on Tuesday, August 19, streaming worldwide on YouTube and other platforms at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST. Whether you’re excited for the big reveals or ready to critique the lineup, this year’s Gamescom promises to have people talking.
