Samsung hasn’t made an official announcement yet, but judging by these images, the design closely mirrors last year’s Galaxy S24 FE.

The S25 FE features a punch-hole AMOLED display on the front, a vertically aligned triple camera setup at the back, and a premium metal build with flat edges. The right side houses the volume rocker and power button, and the overall aesthetic feels like a minimal evolution rather than a bold redesign.

Rumors suggest the phone will pack an Exynos 2400 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. The display is said to be a 6.7-inch FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED panel, while power will come from a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. It’s also tipped to launch with Android 16-based One UI 8 and carry an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

Camera-wise, buyers can expect a 12MP selfie camera and a triple rear setup with a 50MP main (OIS), 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom with OIS. While the hardware sounds solid on paper, the community reaction so far has been mixed – with some calling the upgrade lazy and questioning the value of 8GB RAM in a 2025 mid-premium device.

Some long-time fans feel Samsung could’ve simply kept the S24 FE in the lineup for another year, while others argue the FE badge now stands for “Failure Edition.” Whether the S25 FE wins over skeptics may depend less on its spec sheet and more on Samsung’s pricing strategy when it’s unveiled next month.
