Amazon’s Prime Video has given fans their first taste of The Boys prequel, Vought Rising, dropping a batch of vibrant first-look images that scream 1950s flair. 
The spin-off promises to dive into the early, shady days of Vought International, well before the world met Homelander and the modern crew.
Four Supes are front and center in the reveal: Jensen Ackles returns as Soldier Boy, now rocking brighter greens, a full coat, and a simpler mask; Mason Dye steps in as Bombsight; Will Hochman takes on Torpedo; and Elizabeth Posey makes her debut as Private Angel. Unlike the gritty, muted tones of the main series, these costumes pop with bold reds, blues, and greens – a clear nod to the more optimistic façade Vought may have projected in its early years.
The show will also feature KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith, alongside Aya Cash reprising her role as the ruthless Stormfront. Though Amazon remains tight-lipped on the exact release date, it’s clear this prequel aims to explore the roots of the corporation’s propaganda machine and set the stage for the chaos fans already know is coming.
Meanwhile, The Boys is headed toward its fifth and final season, with production wrapped and Antony Starr bidding farewell to his role as the monstrous but magnetic Homelander. Season 5’s release date is still a mystery, but Gen V Season 2 arrives on September 17, 2025, ensuring fans won’t have to wait too long for their next hit of this bloody, satirical universe.
