Tecno has officially launched the Spark Go 5G, a budget-friendly device that still packs some notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Spark Go 2. It now comes with a roomy 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel sporting HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, complete with a punch-hole cutout for the 5MP selfie camera.
The display also supports Tecno’s Dynamic Port feature, which shows notifications around the front camera area.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable via microSD. While some may find 4GB of RAM limiting for heavier multitasking, the device targets casual users looking for solid basics and 5G connectivity. The Spark Go also offers IP64 dust and splash resistance.
Photography is handled by a single 50MP main camera on the back, housed in a visor-style module with a second empty cutout – giving it a design that some might jokingly compare to high-end flagships. Powering the phone is a huge 6,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support, promising long life between charges.
On the software side, it boots HiOS 15 based on Android 15 and includes Tecno’s Ella AI assistant. Color options include Ink Black, Sky Blue, and Turquoise Green. Pricing in India starts at INR 9,999 (about $114), with open sales beginning August 21 on Flipkart.
