Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8 beta program based on Android 16 for select devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Z Flip6. As announced earlier, the beta update is now available to users in the UK and South Korea.
Samsung Galaxy S24 owners in these regions can now join the program and receive the software update.
The update, with the build number S926BXXU9ZYH3/S926BOXM9ZYH3/S926BXXU9CYH3 depending on the region, is around 3.2 GB in size. It also includes the latest August 1 Android security patch. Currently, Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra unlocked variants are eligible, with other regions like the US and India expected to follow soon.
In addition to the Galaxy S24, the One UI 8 beta update is being rolled out for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 in South Korea. To get started, users need to download the Samsung Members app and log in using their Samsung credentials. Once enrolled, they can access the update in the Software Update section of their device.
Looking ahead, more devices, such as the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z Fold5, are set to receive the One UI 8 beta update in September. Samsung plans to begin rolling out the stable version to select devices in the same month.
