Honor has officially confirmed that its next-generation foldable, the Magic V Flip2, will make its debut on August 21 in China at 7:30 PM local time.
Alongside the launch date, the company has revealed the phone’s elegant design and its four color options – one of which is a special edition created by renowned fashion icon Prof. Jimmy Choo, the founder of the luxury shoe brand that bears his name.
In terms of design, the Magic V Flip2 stays true to its predecessor’s style but refines it with subtle changes. Like the original Magic V Flip, it features an LED flash and a pair of cameras placed near the cover display. This time, however, the two camera modules are identical in size, creating a cleaner, more balanced look. The arrangement could also improve usability of the outer screen, according to some early impressions.
Interestingly, Honor continues to position the cameras in the top-right corner, a choice that has sparked curiosity among fans who are used to the more conventional top-left layout. While Honor hasn’t yet shared the device’s full specifications, it’s likely that more details will emerge in the days leading up to the official reveal.
