Samsung has officially lifted the curtain on its groundbreaking Micro RGB display technology, touting it as the future of premium TV viewing.
This new approach uses ultra-tiny sub-100-micrometer LEDs in red, green, and blue, arranged in an ultra-fine pattern behind the panel for precision control of each pixel’s color.
The first product to showcase this innovation is a massive 115-inch display, powered by an advanced AI engine that analyzes every frame in real time to optimize color output. The Micro RGB Color Booster Pro system detects scenes with muted tones and instantly enhances them, producing richer, more vibrant visuals. Add to that a smarter, generative AI-powered Bixby assistant and Samsung Knox security, and the display becomes more than just a screen – it’s an intelligent hub for your entertainment.
With Micro RGB Precision Color, the panel achieves 100% BT.2020 color space coverage, while Glare Free technology keeps reflections at bay, even in bright environments. Samsung also promises seven years of Tizen OS updates, ensuring long-term support and fresh features.
The launch will begin in Korea, followed by a US release, with a global rollout planned in multiple sizes to suit different spaces. While Samsung didn’t disclose exact brightness figures, expectations are high – and so are the jokes from display enthusiasts.
