Google’s Pixel 10 series is set to launch later this month, and fresh official-looking images leaked by Evan Blass have given us the clearest look yet at the upcoming trio – Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
The renders reveal all official colors and hint at some surprising design choices.
The standard Pixel 10 comes in Light Blue (Frost), Blue (Indigo), Yellow (Limoncello), and Black (Obsidian), sporting a matte aluminum frame and a wider camera visor than before. For the first time, it houses three cameras, including a 10MP telephoto (5x) lens. However, to offset costs, Google is reportedly using an older 48MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide – a downgrade from previous models. While the color palette impresses, some fans have already voiced disappointment over the bezels and camera compromises.
The Pixel 10 Pro sticks to familiar territory with a 6.3-inch display, triple rear cameras, and color options in Grey (Moonstone), Black (Obsidian), and White (Porcelain). The Pro XL, likewise, mirrors its predecessor with a 6.8-inch screen and colors including Green (Jade), Grey (Moonstone), Black (Obsidian), and White (Porcelain).
In a bold move, all three slab-style models are rumored to be eSIM-only – a decision that’s already polarizing buyers. Interestingly, the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold, expected to launch later, may still offer a physical SIM slot, leading some to joke about the irony of a bulkier foldable keeping the slot while the standard models lose it.
With the Pixel 10 series, Google seems to be balancing cost control with design flair, aiming to please both minimalism-loving Android fans and those who value premium aesthetics. Still, between the rumored downgrades and eSIM-only limitation, this year’s Pixels might not win over everyone.
