Google is gearing up for one of its biggest tech showcases of the year – the Made by Google 2025 event, set for August 20. Fans can expect the full unveiling of the Pixel 10 lineup, the Pixel Watch 4, and a fresh set of Pixel Buds.
Here’s how to watch the event live and what surprises might be in store.
How to watch
The Pixel 10 reveal kicks off on August 20 at 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT. Google will livestream the presentation on its Made by Google YouTube channel, and the stream will be embedded here once it’s live. A select group of press will also attend in person.
Pixel 10 series
The headline act will be the Pixel 10 family: the standard Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro, the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All four will debut Google’s first fully in-house chipset, co-developed with TSMC on a 3nm process. Expect better performance, improved energy efficiency, and faster on-device AI processing.
Design-wise, the phones will resemble last year’s models with their pill-shaped camera module and flat displays, though they may be slightly thicker and heavier. Rumors suggest the base Pixel 10 could gain an 11MP 5x telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL may pack a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultra-wide, and 48MP selfie shooter, while the Pro Fold could feature a 12MP ultra-wide, 12MP telephoto, and 11MP selfie lens.
Pricing may remain unchanged despite rising tariffs, and buyers could receive a free six-month trial of Google’s new AI Pro subscription. Availability is rumored for August 28 for the Pixel 10, Pro, and XL, with the Pro Fold arriving on October 9.
Pixel Watch 4
The Pixel Watch 4 is tipped to debut alongside the phones, bringing slimmer bezels, a slightly thicker body, and the same 41mm and 45mm sizes – plus a new Moonstone color. It may also boast a bigger battery, faster wireless charging, Wear OS 6, and potentially exclusive fitness features.
Pixel Buds 2a
Google is also expected to reveal the budget-friendly Pixel Buds 2a. These A-series earbuds could skip active noise cancellation to keep costs down and may come in the Moonstone color. Detailed specs remain under wraps.
Pixelsnap & Qi2 charging
The Pixel 10 series may introduce Pixelsnap, a magnetic accessory ecosystem enabling full Qi2 wireless charging – similar to Apple’s MagSafe. Qi2 promises faster, cooler charging with secure magnetic alignment.
Gemini AI integration
AI will play a major role, with Google’s Gemini platform potentially getting exclusive Pixel 10 features. Expect on-device enhancements that push voice, camera, and productivity capabilities further.
